Disney Infinity Review

Disney Infinity Review
If you are to take note of the evolution of media and gaming in recent years, you'd no doubt notice how the two have reached some sort of fusion. This is often referred to as the transmedia phenomenon, where actual toys are merged with the functionalities of consoles and video game systems. One of these advanced toys, which is set to be released later this year, is Disney Infinity.

Features of Disney Infinity

Disney Infinity may look complex, but that is only an initial impression. The game comes with a wide variety of figurines, all of them characters from Disney films, such as Buzz Lightyear, Jack Sparrow, and more.

You'll need a gaming platform, such as a Windows PC or even a Nintendo 3DS to plug in the figurines. Do you need to plug in the figurines to enjoy the game? The answer would be no. If there are no figurines inserted, you can create your own gaming universe.

Once plugged in, the figurines will be moving in their own unique worlds. Customization of the characters comes in when players are able to collect power discs, which they can use to enhance their characters' abilities. The fun part? Giving a rocketpack disc originally meant for Buzz Lightyear to Jack Sparrow. That is definitely a sight to see!

Disney fans and fans of gaming, as a whole, would definitely be bowled over by Disney Infinity!

Price and Guarantees

Disney Infinity is expected to hit the stores August of this year at a price tag of $75 for the package. Additional figurines can be purchased separately at $12.50 each. You can be sure that this will come with a warranty against defects upon purchase.

What We Like About Disney Infinity

Making your beloved Disney characters do what they're supposed to is already an enjoyable experience; imagine being able to mix and match the abilities of one character to another! That would definitely be more thrilling! Make Woody from Toy Story behave like The Lion King's Simba, and vice versa. Fans would definitely get a kick out of this.

The Toybox mode, where no figurines are plugged in, will have the players exercising their imaginations as they create their own Disney worlds. Kids will find this to be a wonderful way to learn while nurturing their creativity.

What We Did Not Like About Disney Infinity

Believe it or not, we have not found anything to dislike about Disney Infinity. It's imaginative, it's creative, and it's just downright fun!

Is Disney Infinity Worth Your Money?

The base package is already a good buy at $75, and you can definitely play to your heart's content. If you add other characters, the fun would simply be amplified. It's definitely worth your hard-earned money!

Where Can Disney Infinity Be Bought?

All major retailers and stores – online and brick-and-mortar ones – are sure to open up a lot of space on their shelves for Disney Infinity. If you decide to buy it online once it is released, your best bets would be website and other major online sellers.
