Boom Boom Balloon Review

Boom Boom Balloon Review
It's amazing how much variety we find in kids' games these days. There are the mentally stimulating board games, the physically challenging activity games, the highly strenuous team sports, the equally challenging video games… Really, the list seems endless. Sometimes, the options could be overwhelming that many kids revert to old-school entertainment and games. Like balloons, for instance. Or, to be more precise, the simple act of popping balloons. That is the concept played around with by Boom Boom Balloon.

Features of Boom Boom Balloon

Boom Boom Balloon package consists of one frame, a 6-sided die, 10 balloons, and several sticks.

The goal is simple enough. One balloon will be placed in the frame, and the one who pops it loses.

First, the balloon will be placed in the frame. Then all the sticks will have to be inserted into the holes strategically placed in the frame. The players will then roll the die and push in the corresponding number of sticks that appear in their die roll. Pushing the sticks will increase the chances that the balloon will pop and the player will lose.

There is no specific age group for Boom Boom Balloon, although it is rated for children above 8 years old. However, it sure is a fun game for the whole family.

Price and Guarantees

Scheduled for release later in 2013, Boom Boom Balloon is expected to sell for $19.99. It is yet unknown whether or not it will come with an official warranty against defects.

What We Liked About Boom Boom Balloon

What we liked about this game is its simplicity. It's straightforward enough that no lengthy explanations or instructions are necessary. It is also sturdy enough, so it can be enjoyed for a long time to come. The frame is durable and the balloons are easy enough to set up into place.

What We Did Not Like About Boom Boom Balloon

Some children may be sensitive to the loud sound of the balloon popping. There is also the fact that only 10 balloons were included in the package, although buying more balloons is easy and inexpensive enough. They could have added more than 10 balloons.

Is Boom Boom Balloon Worth Your Money?

$19.99 is definitely reasonable enough for a game that can be enjoyed by the whole family. No hook-ups and electronic connections are necessary, so that saves a lot on energy cost. Although there is a need to buy replacement balloons, they are not that costly, so yes, Boom Boom Balloon is definitely worth your money.

Where Boom Boom Balloon Can Be Purchased

All the major stores and toy shops are expected to sell Boom Boom Balloon once it has been officially released. You can also buy it from online retailers, such as Online Store.

My Own Pet Balloon Review

My Own Pet Balloon Review
Sometimes, simple joys are the most fun, and we see this most often in kids, who take great joy in the littlest things, like a balloon floating up into the sky, or their pet skipping and running all over the place. Nothing complicated, nothing fancy. But the pleasure derived is not something to balk at. Combining these two could only mean one thing: a toy that would definitely allow kids to fully enjoy their childhood. This combination has been made possible through the creation of My Own Pet Balloons.

Features of My Own Pet Balloons

Remember when you were kids and you marveled at the balloons of different colors that took on the shape of a dog, a cat, and other types of animals? That is the concept that My Own Pet Balloons is based on. Unlike your conventional balloon, however, these animal-shaped balloons will be acting like pets: they can be made to walk on the ground instead of floating away from you, as conventional balloons are wont to do.

With My Own Pet Balloons, children can have their pick of the pet they want. And we're not just talking about the usual cats and dogs. They can indulge in what would have been farfetched aspirations of having a panda or a cow for a pet. Of course, there are also the inflatable bunnies, ponies, and even ducks. There are constant updates and additions to this menagerie of pet or animal balloons, so expect to always be surprised. At present, there are over 30 types of animals to choose from.

Parents these days want nothing more than to allow their children to enjoy being kids. As such, they'd want them to experience great joys from simple things, the way they did when they were younger. That's why My Own Pet Balloons is the perfect toy for children and their parents.

Price and Guarantees

The price of each My Own Pet Balloons pet is around $10. However, depending on the retailer or reseller, expect the price to fluctuate by a dollar or so. Every 2 weeks, at most, there is a need for a helium refill. The refills will have to be paid separately. Meanwhile, there are no guarantees for this product.

What We Love About My Own Pet Balloons

What's not to love about cute, inflatable animals that hover along the ground like real animals? Clearly, Glasshouse Balloons Co. wanted to let children who couldn't have actual animals for pets to have the next best thing, which is why they picked only the best and highest quality materials to make it.

Unlike regular balloon toys, there is always the fear of them getting away from you. Helium was, indeed, used to inflate My Own Pet Balloons, but it was done in such a way that it suited the overall weight of the materials, so it remains "grounded".

Parents are always dreading the cost of every toy that comes out of the market since they seem to be getting pricier and pricier. The price of My Own Pet Balloons is so parent-friendly that parents won't hesitate to purchase – and maybe even complete! – a pet balloon collection for their kids.

What We Don't Love About My Own Pet Balloons

What we don't love about these products are the same concerns we normally have about balloons, albeit on a milder scale. All balloons deflate or burst after some time, so there's a need to refill it. That is not something you can completely do away with or delay when you don't feel like doing it.

These pet balloons have been designed with children 3 years old and up. As such, these balloons are likely to become choking hazard when they are deflated.

Parents should also make sure My Own Pet Balloons are kept away from scorching hot surfaces or sharp objects, as these may pose all sorts of danger to their kids.

Is My Own Pet Balloons Worth Buying?

The price of the balloons as well as the helium refill costs, are more than reasonable, considering how much straightforward fun My Own Pet Balloons brings.
