The Fall of Cybertron Metroplex Transformer Review

The Fall of Cybertron Metroplex Transformer Review
When we speak of robots, the Transformers would undoubtedly be one of the first things to come to mind. This group of sentient machines who can transform to various types of vehicles has become deeply ensconced in sci-fi history. Video games, films, cartoon series, comic books, toys… you name it, the Transformers franchise has it. In celebration of the Transformers series' 30th anniversary, Hasbro is set to release the largest Transformer yet, the 2-feet Fall of Cybertron Metroplex Transformer.

Features of the Cybertron Metroplex Transformer

Voted as the coolest Transformer yet, the Cybertron Metroplex is also said to be the most complex among the lot. At 24 inches or 2 feet, it is the tallest and largest among the Transformers. It is accompanied by a Scamper legend scale figure.

Cybertron Metroplex has three modes that you can switch through for transformation: Carrier mode, City mode, and Robot mode. In addition, it comes with its own weapon turrets and a helmet. Other features of this transformer include eyes that light up and a speaking voice.

Hasbro has targeted August 2013 as the official date of release of this Transformer. No doubt, robot lovers and collectors – especially the avid fans of the Transformers series – will line up to buy their Cybertron Metroplex Transformer. This will definitely be a great addition to any Transformers collection.

Price and Guarantees

Once released, Cybertron Metroplex will be sold at the retail price of $125. Hasbro makes sure that all its products come with a comprehensive warranty against product defects, and there is no reason to believe that the Metroplex won't have the same warranties.

What We Like About Cybertron Metroplex Transformer

The Cybertron Metroplex Transformer is not only large enough to satisfy fans and collectors; it is also very complex than what is usually expected of these toys. The three modes allow for full transformation into city, carrier and robot, each looking distinct and with its own personality post-transformation.

What We Did Not Like About Cybertron Metroplex Transformer

The only thing that would make someone pause or hesitate about the Metroplex is its price tag. At $125, not everyone can easily afford to buy their own Cybertron Metroplex Transformer. One would have to be a huge fan of the Transformers franchise to shell out that amount of money without blinking.

There is also the reality that the Cybertron is not for small children as, say, Bumblebee. It is more suitable for older children and adults.

Is The Cybertron Metroplex Transformer Worth Your Money?

If you're a fan of the Transformers franchise, $125 would be a very good investment for you, especially if you are trying to complete your Transformers collection. If you think about it, though, this could have gone for a higher price, but Hasbro has successfully managed to keep it at only $125, and that couldn't have been easy.

Where Can You Buy Metroplex?

Anywhere that you can find Transformers toys and merchandise, you'll definitely find the Metroplex among them. You can also order them directly online from website and other online stores.
