RoboMe Review

RoboMe Review

During the Toy Fair 2013, the coveted Toys 3.0 award was received by RoboMe, and it hasn't even been released yet! It sounds promising, doesn't it?

Features of RoboMe

Set for release later this year, the award-winning RoboMe is already being eyed as one of the most sought-after toys in the market, especially during the holidays.

This toy robot utilizes the technology that makes use of an iOS device or an iPhone. Basically, the device will be the head of the robot. Pretty nifty, don't you think?

Little boys who love to play with robots will definitely like this one. However, adults who are into collecting and playing with toy robots are going to be so psyched with a toy robot that offers a lot of features and can be enjoyed with the use of a smartphone.

Price and Guarantees

A definite price tag for RoboMe has not yet been officially announced. However, if we are to make a guess, depending on the features, it is likely to hit the $100 mark. Similarly, there is no word yet on the availability of product warranties or guarantees attached to this product.

What We Like About the RoboMe:

From what we've seen during this year's Toy Fair, RoboMe offers a fun concept for everyone who wants to have a cool robot and is a fan of mobile or smartphone technology. Using an iOS device as the robot's head is quite an ingenious idea.

The use of the smartphone enables personalization of the toy robot experience. You can practically have a robot moving around with your face on it! There are signs that app developers would be inspired by this toy to come up with useful and fun apps which would improve the overall experience even more.

What We Do Not Like About the RoboMe

Our main beef with the RoboMe is the one thing that we also love about it (which is a dilemma, really). In order to enjoy the full capabilities of RoboMe, having an iOS device or an iPhone is necessary. Unfortunately, not everyone have these devices. Now if only they also designed RoboMe to be used by Android users, it would level the playing field a bit and enable more people to enjoy it.

Is The RoboMe Worth Your Money?

Our guess is that RoboMe would be around $100. If we guessed right, many would probably wince at the idea of paying that much amount of money. But if you consider the features and capabilities, and the technology behind RoboMe, that amount is actually pretty reasonable.

Where Can You Buy The RoboMe?

Expect the RoboMe to be made available through online stores. Online Store is one of the best sources of RoboMe upon its release.
