Flutterbye Flying Fairies Review

Flutterbye Flying Fairies Review
When you think of toys for girls, cuddly toys, dolls, cooking sets and the like would be the more obvious choices. It is rare to find remote-controlled toys for little girls. But that is about to change with the introduction of the Flutterbye Flying Fairies by Spin Master.

Flutterbye flying Fairies, a remote controlled helicopter that is actually a fairy.

Features of Flutterbye Flying Fairies

Technically, Flutterbye Flying Fairies are remote-controlled helicopters which, in reality, are actually fairies. However, instead of an actual remote control or levers to manipulate, an infrared detection system had been placed on the soles of the fairies' feet.

To make the propellers work, one needs only to place their hand beneath the infrared detectors. The propellers of this unlikely helicopter are actually the wings of the fairy. Each fairy comes with built-in rechargeable batteries and a charger.

There are going to be two fairies to choose from upon the Christmas release of this toy: the blue-and-purple Stardust, and the pink-and-purple Flower. In the future, more fairies may be released by Spin Master.

These fairies are perfect for little girls who are tired of playing with traditional dolls and little-girl toys.

What We Like About Flutterbye Flying Fairies

Remote-controlled toys are not only for little boys. Little girls can also play with helicopter toys without losing touch of their girly and feminine sides. There is also the fact that the fairies themselves are so cute. Little girls couldn't help but adore them as they flutter about with their propellers – er, we mean their fairy wings.

What We Did Not Like About Flutterbye Flying Fairies

The 5-minute flight time for one full battery charge sounds too fleeting. This means the child can play with their Flutterbye Flying Fairy no more than 5 minutes at a time, then they have to charge it again. On the average, it was said that it takes roughly 20 minutes to fully charge the battery again. It seems that it takes longer to charge the battery than it takes to play with the fairy in full flight. At this rate, you'd end up charging more than setting it to fly.

Is Flutterbye flying Fairies Worth Your Money?

Considering the features and the amount of fun that can be derived from playing with these cute and realistic fairies, paying for the $34.99 price tag is tolerable.

Where To Buy Flutterbye flying Fairies
